• The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passenger whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations may be removed from the vehicle or prevented from boarding on the driver’s authority. This behaviour includes sitting on the exterior of the vehicle, hanging out the windows, shouting abuse, rudeness or intolerance with the chauffer, arguing with the chauffer, misuse of equipment and general damage to the interior.
  • Opening of the emergency hatch is forbidden. This is for emergencies only. Such behaviour may, at the discretion of the chauffeur or company, result in the immediate termination of the hire without compensation.
  • The person in charge of the hire will be responsible for the conduct of passengers and for any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers during the hire.
  • The chauffeur/company reserves the right to charge the person who has hired the vehicle for any damage caused during the course of any charter, This includes additional cleaning due to inappropriate behaviour.
  • Canberra Hummer can and will recover any money for loss of property that is provided in the vehicle. This includes any media devices, cushions and any bar equipment.
  • It is against the law to smoke in a Public Transport Vehicle therefore NO SMOKING inside the vehicle.
  • Please note that all limousine bookings are subject to the vehicle being able to have access to the itinerary provided to us. In the case where the vehicle is unable to access roads or a particular location/venue required, the driver will pull up as close as possible at his discretion, bearing in mind the clients’ safety, the drivers’ safety, and the safety of the vehicle.
  • Canberra Hummer will endeavour to ensure you arrive at your destination, safely, comfortably, and on time. However, we can not be held liable for any event which is beyond our control, including traffic delays, weather, illness or vehicle breakdown. In such circumstances, you must allow Canberra Hummer to do all things possible to resolve the issue and complete the hire. (e.g. if a vehicle breaks down, provide a replacement subject to availabvility) Canberra Hummer reserves the right to employ sub-contract vehicles and drivers to complete the hire. Should we be unable to provide an alternative vehicle, a pro-rata refund will be made. The company will not be held liable for any expenses beyond the hire arising from events beyond our control.
  • The hirer holds the chauffeur and/or company harmless of any liability for any personal or material damages arising from the conduct of his or her party.
  • The chauffeur and/or company shall not be held liable or responsible for any articles left in the vehicle and the hirer specifically indemnifies the chauffeur/company from any such responsibility and undertakes to advise all other persons in his or her party.
  • The consumption of food is not permitted in the vehicle unless agreement has been made to the contrary at the time of the booking as we do provide cheese platters, etc.
  • Where complimentary drinks are supplied by Canberra Hummer, these must be consumed in the vehicle and may not be removed for any reason whatsoever.
  • Alcohol may not be consumed by passengers under the age of 18 years. It is against the law, and Canberra Hummer will not allow any underage drinking.
  • The company does not permit the consumption of illicit drugs whilst in the vehicle. Failure to comply may result in the termination of hire.
  • Canberra hummer will take no responsibility for misconduct that may lead to prosecution.
  • Seat belts must be worn at all times.
  • Personal information collected by Canberra Hummer is treated in the strictest confidence and will not be disclosed in full or in part to anyone other than Canberra Hummer and/or the company’s affiliate partner’s assigned to the booking.
  • By signing this agreement, you agree to keep confidential any and all information provided to you by Canberra Hummer as it is considered to be industry sensitive. This includes all information regarding services provided and prices quoted.
  • Canberra Hummer reserves the right to use any video or photos captured by the company for display and/or promotional purposes. All footage and photographs remain the exclusive property of Canberra Hummer.
  • Payment by Credit Card will attract a surcharge as follows:Mastercard and Visa – 1.5%American Express     – 3.5%
  • Credit card details must be provided at time of booking. Credit card details will be destroyed 7 days after booking. No credit card details No Booking
  • Terms & Conditions are current but subject to change without notice. 


    General Hire:

    A deposit of $250 will be incurred on all bookings, while a $450 deposit will be incurred on Wine Tours & Brew Tours. Cancellations within 15 days prior to the booking will be charged the full amount of the booking. Vehicles cancelled before this will receive no refund of deposit.

    If the hirer books within 14 days of the booking date, then cancels, the hirer will receive no refund of deposit.

    Wedding Hire:

    A deposit of $450 will be incurred on all bookings. Bookings cancelled within 28 days prior to the wedding will be charged the full amount of the booking, unless extraordinary circumstances can be shown. Vehicles cancelled before this will receive no refund of deposit.
